Content & Objectives
This Pan-Nordic medical webinar is a cooperation between Galenica Derma and La Roche-Posay. It will focus on advancements in the treatment and aftercare of actinic keratosis (AK).

In the first part, Dr. Saenz-Guirado, will focus on self-treatment using daylight photodynamic therapy (DL-PDT). In recent years, there has been growing interest in the Nordics for convenient and effective self-treatment options, which has the potential to free up resources at the dermatology clinic as well as increase convenience for the patients without compromising efficacy.

Key topics include:
• The evolving role of daylight PDT in self-treatment of actinic keratosis
• Practical aspects of home-based treatment and patient selection

In the second part of the webinar, Dr. Delphine Kerob, will focus on the role of dermo cosmetics in the aftercare post-PDT. Although daylight-PDT is relatively painless it is associated with local skin reactions which may affect patients’ quality of life and treatment acceptability. Decreasing down time, and patient comfort are key to maintain patient satisfaction and quality of life. Dr. Kerob will highlight the importance of ultra-long UVA photoprotection.

Key topics include:
• What is the potential of a prebiotic and panthenol-containing Dermocosmetic Cream (DC) to enhance tolerance and mitigate post-dPDT induced LSR in the treatment of AKs.
• Ultra-long UVA protection essential when picking a sunscreen.
Join us for this important discussion on the future of AK treatment and patient-centered care.

Target group:
Dermatologists in private and hospital practice (also residents). Dermatology and PDT nurses.
